THE ULTIMATE 420 EXPERIENCE

As every 4/20 approaches our stoner holiday seems to become more and more official. Our community has celebrated it since before most of us were stoners but the last few years really feels like this special day has become accepted by our country and some of the world. This year the spotlight was on New York as this was the real first 4/20 since the state went recreationally legal last year. Our team has hosted events the last 3 years and we were excited to team up with Green Street to throw the 420 Experience at the Two Bit Circus located in the Arts District on the outskirts of Downtown Los Angeles.

The Two Bit Circus is essentially an adult arcade. It's filled with Games, Virtual Reality, Panic rooms, food and a circular bar slapped right in the middle of the venue. Consumption was held in the parking lot where brands like Originals, Dutchie, Zippo, MMD, Dabwoods, Liquid Death, Royal Blunts popped up to connect with the community. Hulu was cruising around documenting the event for a possible cannabis show and the crowd joked about a Chris Brown doppleganger running around. The laughter escalated when the real Chris Brown happened to walk through the smoke sesh. Super Troopers/Beerfest star Jay Chandrasekhar held a historic Q&A which lightweight turned into an episode of Jerry Springer (RIP).

The highlight of the night was Steve the Clown. Steve ran around the event tormenting people, pulling 30 foot ribbons out of his mouth and taking stoners on magic carpet rides launching them into the Los Angeles smog.

With over 3000 in attendance the 420 Experience LA was the place to be if you were trying to celebrate 4/20 in Los Angeles. We have to give the Cali 4/20 trophy to Hippy Hill in Golden Gate Park, but we were happy to be involved in the best event in Socal! Thank you everyone who pulled up and we can't wait for 710!!!
